My maytag series 2000 front loader washer made a loud bang the other night and the machine was unplugged but the door remained locked. i will try and unlock it via the lower panel access. what code is e2 f3 flashing on machine.. Lid lock light flashing: the lid lock light will flash if lid lock has not moved into the lock position, the lock motor can not be powered, or the lid is not closed completely due to interference. some models will lock immediately, while others will not lock until after the wash cycle has started.. The lid lock light on vmw washers, made by whirlpool, kenmore and maytag, will flash whenever there is a problem with the washer. the problem may not necessarily be a broken lid lock..
I am staying in a rental with a front-loading maytag washer. the "door locked" light is flashing and will not let me do anything--turn it on, off, start, unlock, anything.. Is the control locked light blinking? if the control lock feature has been enabled, the control lock light will flash 3 times indicating that it is activated. to turn off control lock, press and hold the control lock button(s) designated for your model for 3 seconds..
