Best answer: i have this monster in my garage also it washes real good but it is loud in the spin cycle this washer is a beast. it really is a great washing machine but it is loud . it is not meant to even be on a wood floor. i once went on a service call to an old trailer where this elderly woman bought. My new maytag top load washer is loud doing wash and quiet during rinse and spin and stays in place! but overall, maytag is still more quiet than my old lg front loader and does a better job washing laundry..
